Case Study
SOMERSET (2017-2018)

A transformation project within a conservation area of a detached recon-stone bungalow. The design included the demolition of the existing garage and removal of the roof, a side extension, a new roof with dormer conversion, and associated landscaping, layout and fenestration alterations. The design aimed to improve the amenity and character of the site in context to the surrounding conservation area and listed buildings.

The transformation required a substantial number of alterations and additions to the property. Large RSJs were inserted at key points to support the new first floor joists, create the open-plan layout, and install a large stretch of sliding doors.
