Case Study
COURT ASH HOUSE –
YEOVIL, SOMERSET (2014-2015)

Conversion project of a 1970s office block in a conservation area into 23 residential apartments, with the addition of two new storeys added constructed from SIPs (Structurally Insulated Panels). We worked on-site from planning to completion with necessary amendments made throughout as the project progressed.

The additional storeys were craned into place with remarkable speed of assembly for the walls and roofs. The exterior of the existing building undertook structural alterations at ground floor level to make room for a series of garages and openings to the front terraces. The entire building was stripped out and within the new apartment layouts new plumbing, electrics, kitchens, bathrooms, tiling etc installed. The transformation was enormous and a huge success to provide low-cost starter units in the Town Centre of Yeovil.
