Case Study
CHETNOLE –¬†
SOMERSET (2016-2017)

A natural stone parapet-wall flat roof wraparound extension to a detached property. The project included a significant structural design to open up the extended space in to the existing kitchen, living and dining rooms. This left the first floor corner of the house supported weightlessly and an enormous open-plan space as a result.

The angular shape of the extension was designed to project views into the garden space and away from the neighbouring property. The open-plan space aimed to provide the perfect environment for social occasions as well as everyday living and was a great success.
